Nevada Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy sits alongside our general Privacy Policy, which describes everything the app handles in full.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect, where it comes from, and how it is used

The only information PlainWay handles that could ever touch Nevada's definition is location: your position, and the place you search for or route to. Its only source is you, through the app. It is used to answer that one request — find the place, calculate the route, or show the speed limit where you are — and is then discarded. It is not used to infer anything about your health, and it is not used for anything else.

We collect no symptoms, diagnoses, medications, biometric or genetic data, reproductive or gender-affirming care information, and nothing from any health provider, insurer or wearable device.

3. Who else sees it

We do not sell it and we never have. The service providers that handle parts of a request in the moment it is made — our server host, Photon, the US Census Bureau and OpenFreeMap — are listed with exactly what each one receives in section 4 of the Privacy Policy. None of them is told who you are.

PlainWay contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software, and no third party collects information about you across websites or apps through it.

4. Your rights, and how to use them

You have the right to confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, to see a list of anyone it has been shared with, to stop its collection or sharing, and to have it deleted. Write to support@plainway.app.

• We will respond within 45 days of confirming the request is genuine. If we need longer we may extend that once, by up to 45 more days, and will tell you why.
• If you ask us to delete data, we will do it within 30 days of confirming the request. Because we keep no record of locations, the usual answer is that there is nothing to delete, and we will say so plainly.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line, or by writing to support@plainway.app. We will tell you in writing what we decided, and why, within 45 days of receiving the appeal. If we deny it, we will include the contact details of the Nevada Attorney General's office, which you can also reach through ag.nv.gov.

5. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and bring the change to your attention in the app before it applies.
