PlainWay
If someone is in danger right now, call your emergency services first. This page is not monitored in real time.
PlainWay routes using OpenStreetMap data, which is contributed by volunteers. It is remarkably good and it is not perfect. If PlainWay sent you somewhere it should not have — a road that no longer exists, a turn that is illegal, a bridge that is out, a one-way street mapped the wrong way — we want to know, and we would rather hear about it twice than not at all.
It helps enormously if you can include:
PlainWay is run by a small team, and every report is read by a person. We aim to reply within two working days, and we deal with reports in order of how dangerous the problem would be for the next driver, not how easy it is to fix:
Where the fault is in OpenStreetMap itself, we also report it there, so the correction reaches everyone rather than only PlainWay users.
We keep a record of every report: where, what was reported, what we decided and when — including the ones we decide not to act on, and why. Your email address is not part of that record. The Privacy Policy says how long each is kept.
This is not a substitute for your own judgement. A road you have reported may still be routed over until the fix reaches you. Please keep obeying what you can see, as the Terms of Use describe.
